Grad school apps, here I come!

If there is one thing I have learned over the past 28 years, it's that I was meant to work with children in some capacity. I find myself constantly seeking out new opportunities involving children and the arts, and the classroom pictured above was my latest adventure!

For the past four months I have been a classroom assistant in two 4th and 6th grade art classes at a local elementary school. Today was my last day, and I probably would have cried like a baby if I wasn't having such a great time {as usual} helping the students along with their latest creations.

I am really going to miss seeing these bright, smiley faces every week. Each and every one of them made my life that much sweeter, and because of them, I have never in my life been more positive that art education is where I was truly meant to be.

{PS: HAHA! I just realized I totally look like a 4th grader. Can you even spot me in there?!}

It runs in the fam, the working with children gig:) You will be fabulous. I know an elementary school in a small town in SW Missouri that will be needing an art teacher in a couple of years-wink, wink! Have fun.
