Over the past two weeks I have been helping J at the studio with a rather large project...printing 137 ice cream flavor cards for a local ice cream shoppe!No two flavors are alike, and neither are these cards; each one has its own unique design made up of vintage wood type. It's been pretty fun digging through the drawers and drawers of type at the studio, and assembling each flavor design is like piecing together a puzzle! Crazy to think that ALL printing was done this way not so long ago...

What shop? We'll have to go on a field trip :)
These look like so much fun to do! And of course, now I am thinking of finding some ice cream...and not just plain ol' vanilla! =)
