ooooh I can feel it coming...and like a kid in a candy store, I can hardly contain myself!!
Maybe it's the crispness in the air, or the sweet smell of dried leaf piles. It could also be my fuzzy gray sweater (14-years-old and counting) finally coming out again after a long summer's nap, or the taste of fresh apples straight from the orchard.
This image was taken last year during our annual apple-picking extravaganza. There's nothing like that first sip of hot apple cider (or watching your mother-in-law climb trees) to get the season started! ;oD

The leaves here in KC are already starting the miraculous change, and it seems so early. Our neighbors were picking apples from their tree this past weekend for the entertainment of their 4 grand-children!!
And there will be tree climbing again this year! We just have to pick a date :)
LOL...I want to see my mom-in-law do this too.
I totally dig your mother in law climbing trees and picking apples. That sounds sooo fun!
leaca and rebecca - it is truly a sight to behold!! hahaha ;oD
I can't WAIT to go picking, I look forward to it every fall!
