Au revoir to the ice, bienvenue to the budding trees! This time of year reminds me of one of my favorite Robert Frost poems:

Nature's first green is gold,
Her hardest hue to hold.
Her early leafs a flower;
But only so an hour.
Then leaf subsides to leaf.
So Eden sank to grief,
So dawn goes down to day.
Nothing gold can stay.

It is nice to see the water and no ice....we are so ready for warmth here, as well!
