137 flavors
Over the past two weeks I have been helping J at the studio with a rather large project...printing 137 ice cream flavor cards for a local ice cream shoppe!No two flavors are alike, and neither are these cards; each one has its own unique design made up of vintage wood type. It's been pretty fun digging through the drawers and drawers of type at the studio, and assembling each flavor design is like piecing together a puzzle! Crazy to think that ALL printing was done this way not so long ago...

ink stained
This is my favorite drawer of wood type at the studio. I love how each letter has inherited a certain color over the years, and that each and every one is different.
